Shopping in Milan

Milano is the economic capital of Italy.
It's quite famous because of fashion too. Via montenapoleone, or corso Vittorio Emanuele, near the Dome, are full of shops, mostly quite expensive. Expecially in via Montenapoleone you will find the most expensive and well known high fashion houses.
Another "shopping zone" is corso Buenos aires, may be one of the longest shopping streets in the world.
Lots of tourists every day walk on these streets. English is spoken everywhere, no problem. In some shops toy can also find japanese mother tongue store clerks, as there is a really big number of japan tourists.
Via Torino, starting from the piazza del duomo is a good place to go shopping, much cheaper than the previous.
Corso Vercelli is another shopping street, smaller than the previous ones, but interesting.
On saturdays, if you like street markets, go to the beginning of via Olona. You will find a very big market.
